LUNAR NEW YEAR 2022 CONCERT-EINE ENSEMBLE

The Lunar New Year (Sol-nal / 설날) is a time during which Korean families typically gather to celebrate a new year. Due to the ongoing global pandemic, however, many families—both in Korea and abroad—may be unable to enjoy the holiday together this year. So, the Eine Ensemble has prepared a special Lunar New Year concert in hopes that families might be united through music.

This special program by the Eine Ensemble is composed of their time volunteering to perform at various rural schools in Gyeongsang province in South Korea, where the students do not have proper access to music programs.

The Eine Flute Ensemble of South Korea, founded in 1997, its mission has been to bring the beauty of traditional Korean music to the world. It has performed in various countries, including US (St. Louis and Columbia), China, Vietnam and Austria.

This music premiere was done by Eine Ensemble which graciously volunteered to do concert at a couple of rural schools in Gyeongsang South Province, Korea, where the students do not have good access to music concerts.

The 2022 Lunar Concert premieres on Feb 1st at 12: PM CST.
