The Gateway Korea Foundation provides opportunities for the Heartland Community to learn about and experience Korean culture. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, the Gateway Korea Foundation will draw from communities across the American Midwest to nurture a greater understanding and appreciation for Korean culture.

We have a few very special positions we are looking to fill this year. As GKF grows we are always looking to add talented and passionate people to our team. Our positions are a great way to utilize your special skills, network and make contacts with people throughout the Midwest and make new friends who have like-minded goals.

  • Event Volunteers for the Chuseok Harvest Festival event: We are in need of more helping hands for our upcoming Chuseok Harvest Festival event on September 28th and Passport-to-Korea event on September 29th. Duties may include some heavy lifting, setting up tables and décor, cleaning up after the event, checking tickets and greeting attendees. Please contact Margie Wasielewsk –

  • PR and Communications Assistant:  We are in eager need of people with communications and PR experience. In particular, those with experience in writing newsletters, press releases for our events throughout the year and communication with local public media.   • Event Photographers and Videographers. We are looking for a few photographers or videographers to help us capture our events throughout the year. Photos and video will be distributed to local press, social media and our website. Must have proper professional equipment and editing software. Please have some portfolio work to share with us. Perfect for university students, experienced hobbyists and professionals looking to add to their event portfolio.
