Details About Volunteer Roles

We have several very special positions we are looking to fill this year. As GKF continues to grow, we are always looking to add talented and passionate people to our team. Our positions are a great way to utilize your special skills, network and make contacts with people throughout the Midwest, and make new friends who have similar goals and interests.

  • Website Development: If you are interested in and/or have experience with web development, we’d love to have you help us with maintaining and improving our website. Please send inquiries and a summary of your experience to Kathy Hawkinson - kathy@gateway-korea.org

  • Grant Writers: We are looking for some eloquent individuals with expertise in grant writing to assist GKF with our PR committee’s grant efforts.  Please send inquiries and a summary of your experience to Seungkwon You - seungkwon@gateway-korea.org

  • PR and Communications Assistant: We are in need of people with communications and PR experience. In particular, those with experience in writing newsletters, press releases for our events throughout the year and communication with local public media.   • Event Photographers and Videographers: We are looking for a few photographers or videographers to help us capture our events throughout the year. Photos and video will be distributed to local press, social media and our website. Must have proper professional equipment and editing software. Please have some portfolio work to share with us. Perfect for university students, experienced hobbyists and professionals looking to add to their event portfolio.
