There are a number of ways for you to get involved and support GFK.

Attend a GKF event

We have several events throughout the year, including Dano Spring Festival, Chuseok Fall Festival, and Passport to Korea. By attending and inviting your friends and family along, you are supporting GKF’s mission of providing opportunities for the Heartland Community to experience and gain a better understanding of Korean culture. Join our mailing list to be notified of future events.

Volunteer

As a nonprofit, GKF relies solely on volunteers and their valuable contributions of time, talent, and expertise to fulfill our mission. There are various opportunities to volunteer with GKF throughout the year, including helping with events and participating in special committees (view our current openings). We are always looking for wonderful people to join our GKF family, and we encourage people of all backgrounds, heritages, and ages to get involved. For more information, please email Kathy Hawkinson (kathy@gateway-korea.org) or Heejin Im (heejin@gateway-korea.org).

Follow, Like, and Share GKF’s social media pages

We are always sharing new events and educational content on our Facebook and Instagram pages. By liking our pages and engaging with our posts by sharing, liking or commenting you help ensure our organization reaches even more people in the St. Louis community. To educate unique elements of Korean culture and celebrate Korean culture with the broader population of Midwest America, we need your support in building awareness of various GKF cultural events.

Donate

GKF is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that operates solely on charitable contributions and volunteers. Your donation supports various events and activities that nurture a greater understanding and appreciation of Korean culture. Make a donation.
